The love of horses started for Amy as a young girl but only through photos and the occasional trail ride once a year on vacations.  Her first horse was a 4 year old OTTB mare, Hildi.  The young mare was very energetic, spooky and a sensitive red head, requiring Amy to learn as much about riding/training as possible.  After success in the show ring, she worked with various trainers while earning her degree in Equine Science.  Amy worked as a working student and rider and eventually opened her own facility teaching and training in North Carolina.  This allowed her to spend more time with her mare Hildi until her death at age 22.  Amy has owned several horses over the years and enjoys her time riding.  While working with a trainer she was introduced to PEMF therapy after seeing the benefits to the horses being treated.  She recently purchased a young mare, Ella, who is a 10-month old TB & Connemara cross filly.  Currently lightly training on ground manners and exposing her to new things.  Once of age, she will use Ella on trails, clinics and possibly lightly compete in the jumper rings.  I have recently purchased land for a farm.  I am really looking forward to being a part of a group who share a love of horses.
