Ty Cleveland grew up on a horse ranch in Nebraska, where performance horses, rodeo, and ranch work were a way of life. A lifelong barrel racer and rodeo competitor, Ty attended college on a rodeo scholarship and continues to find joy in the sport today. Rodeo and horses have also allowed Ty to travel across the country, experiencing many different styles of horsemanship and approaches to training, which has deepened a respect for the versatility and resilience of the horse. Growing up, Ty had the opportunity to ride with world-class trainers in working cow horse, ranch horse, roping, and barrel racing, experiences that shaped a lifelong passion for great horsemanship. Since moving to North Carolina, Ty has embraced the opportunity to learn from the state’s diverse equestrian community and enjoys building connections with horsemen and horsewomen of all backgrounds.
