I’m originally a Virginia girl, born into a Southern Baptist minister’s family. My family has modeled and shown me much love through my life, as well as how to love and serve others. Always a country girl at heart, my childhood delight was to go to my grandparent’s farm and ride the work horses in the afternoon — bareback — to be able to get the “smell of the horse” all over me. When I returned home to the city, I ached and relived my experiences over and over in my mind. I didn’t want Mama washing my clothes for fear of losing the scent of the horses!
Having been Blessed with a restless curiosity, my life journeys have created wonderful, multiple opportunities i.e. Finance & Mortgage; the training and care of Animals; and Real Estate – land, farms, homes. It is in this latter phase I have been rewarded with combining all my experiences into an “experience~ease” of what is often considered one of the scariest events in life: buying and selling real estate!
Equine properties are my passion, yet I love working with all buyers, sellers and investors. I frequently ask, “What is it that I can do as to better serve all of my clients, friends, family and creatures?” I have found the key is to listen to what people want — to really listen. The same way in which a trainer works with an animal to create enough trust to train it, is amazingly enough the best way we all communicate with one another!
Besides my commitment to listening mastery, I invest in the best technology that gives access to all past and present real estate market activity within Alamance, Caswell, Chatham, Davidson, Davie, Durham, Granville, Guilford, Harnett, Johnston, Montgomery, Moore, Orange, Person, Rockingham, Stokes, Vance, Wake and Wayne Counties. I also maintain a large network of individuals and professionals in the mortgage, equine and real estate industries. Although technology is a mighty tool — to reach one another more often, create bountiful resources for each other, or help fill a need — our well-being has been sacrificed if it causes us to lose focus on one another. Relationships are my priority and my mission in life is to simplify life for others, help them attain their dreams and bless each one through their journey.
