Bob has been involved with the Equine World since childhood; having gotten his first horse from the Island Ponies of the North Carolina Coast. He owns and operates an Equine Breeding and Racing Farm in Northern Durham County. Bob is past President and current Vice President of the NCHC Board, North Carolina Thoroughbred Association, Equine Advisory Committee at NCSU, and a former Foundation Board Member of the NCSU Veterinary College. He is also the former President of N.C. Thoroughbred Breeders Association.
