NCHC would like to take a moment and reflect on a recent thank you letter we received from Union County Saddle Club. NCHC exists to represent and further the common interest of the entire equine industry of North Carolina. This is just one example of giving back to the NC horse community by a recent grant that was received from NCHC.

Union County Saddle Club Thank you letter

As the 2021 show season at the Union County Saddle Club comes to an end (really our last show is December 4th) we want to take the time to Thank the NC Horse Council for the grant we received. With the monies we were able to purchase a much needed office/announcer building. We installed a new electrical box, sound system, blinds, stairs and rock around the building. We are in the process of finishing the installation, walls and flooring along with heat and air. This building was the major upgrade the Saddle Club needed. We are beyond grateful.

This year the UCSC has hosted well over 700 exhibitors along with their families and friends. We have successfully held 12 shows with 3 more remaining in 3 different series as well as 2 clinics! As we start to bring a close to our 2021 show season our riders and sponsors will be honored at our awards banquet in January! North Carolina Horse Council will be included in our video and we will have materials on display. If there’s anything you would like us to share with our members and exhibitors please let me know!

In closing the Saddle Club again Thanks to the NC Horse Council for their generosity and support as we continue to improve our grounds and buildings!
