Cynthia Fritz

Cindy has been involved with horses and in the horse world since 2004 when her daughter took her first riding lesson. She has owned and/or leased over a dozen ponies and horses over the last 11 years having been responsible for managing their care and training with the assistance of professionals and her daughter who has become quite an accomplished horseman in the hunter/jumper community. The Fritz family has been active participants in national, regional and local shows sponsored by and sanctioned by the United States Equestrian Federation and the North Carolina Hunter Jumper Association. Ms. Fritz’s biggest areas of equine interest are (1) working toward establishing ethical standards of conduct for professionals in the industry particularly those involved in the sale and leasing of horses and those involved in the education and training of children and (2) providing opportunities for education on how the industry operates to those who enter the industry as future owners and riders with no previous background to the industry to eliminate the unfortunate misunderstandings that inevitably occur.

Ms. Fritz is a CPA and Audit Director with the Deloitte national accounting firm in Charlotte, NC. She is married to husband, Brian, and is the mother of Kathleen, age 17. She has served on various not for profit boards over the years, including leadership positions on those boards and looks forward to the opportunity to be a part of the NC Horse Council Board of Directors.
