Background and Experience

Nearly two decades involvement in the horse industry, volunteer with therapeutic riding centers, work experience at Dover Saddlery, work experience in Ireland for Lady Georgina Forbes at Castle Forbes Stud, show manager for Carl and Rush Weeden of Brookwood Farm.

Education

-Bachelor of Science degree in Equestrian Science from William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri

-Expanded education through riding and auditing clinics by George Morris, Linda Allen, Melanie Smith Taylor, Patty Stovel, Jeff Cook, Mindy Bower, Peter Wylde, Kris Killam, as well as numerous others

-Attended and participated in several judge’s clinics

Professional Memberships

-Lifetime membership as an accredited member of the American Society of Equine Appraisers (ASEA)

-Professional member of United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) and United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA)

-Member of the Appraisal Foundation

-Member of the American Hanoverian Society

-Certified to judge non-trotting horses at open horse shows
