Participation Needed: Trail Damage Impact Survey

The Great Trails State Coalition is working with North Carolina elected and agency leadership to understand the impact of Helene on the trail ecosystem and the path to recovery. We have created a brief survey to collect trail damage data in affected counties.
While some areas have opened, we understand many in western NC are still facing daily challenges of meeting basic necessities and that some trails may still be inaccessible. If your trails have been affected, we ask that you do the best you can in responding to the questions.
Your participation will help us tell the story of the storm’s impact on all types of trail infrastructure.
Please forward this survey to other trail organizations, local governments, or non-profits that are managing trails damaged by the storm. The Great Trails State Coalition is committed to using our collective voice to speed recovery!
