The upper loop of the trail– Mason Point– is now open and is approximately 5.5 miles.

The road to get to the trail is the intersection of the gamelands access road (identified as Transis Camp Road on most map tools) and near 8904 Farrington Mill Road, Durham, just inside Durham County. There is a “Gamelands” sign on the opposite side of the road from the Transis Camp Road turn. The trailer parking lot is approximately 1 mile down Transis Camp Road, on your left.
