President Signs Bi-Partisan “Great American Outdoors Act,” Designates “Fee Free” Day Moving Forward
This morning during a signing ceremony at the White House, President Trump signed the “Great American Outdoors Act,” a key legislative priority for trail riders across the country. In addition to providing resources to address the backlog maintenance of public trails, the president also ordered that entry fees to the nation’s public lands will be waived on Wednesday, August 5. The Administration also designated August 4 to be “Great American Outdoors Day,” and will waive entry fees to public lands each August 4, moving forward.
